Abstract

Introduction:Rotary filing methods have made root canal treatment faster and more comfortable for patients and dentists.
Methods: The in vitro study randomly and evenly distributed thirty molar teeth into three groups: Race, Fanta AF blue S1, and Fanta F1 Blue. All teeth had access cavities and k-file size 10 was used for root canal patency.
Results: Race file system outperformed Fanta F1 blue and Fanta AF Blue S1 file systems for smear layer and debris in all sections. Fanta F1 blue had the most debris. However, the Fanta AF blue S1 rotary file system created the most smear layer. Race files have high smear layer scores. The middle and coronal thirds follow the apical third.Race files also showed higher debris scores in the coronal, middle, and apical thirds. Fanta AF Blue S1 file system had higher smear layer on middle third, then apical and coronal thirds. The file also showed higher debris scores in the apical than coronal and middle thirds. Fanta F1 Blue file system has high smear layer scores in the apical, middle, and coronal thirds. The file also showed higher debris scores in the middle than the apical and coronal thirds.
Conclusion; The most debris was found in Fanta F1 Blue during chemo-mechanical preparation. Fanta AF Blue S1 rotary file system developed the most smear layers during chemo-mechanical preparation. Race file system smear layer and debris generation decreased. than Fanta AF Blue S1 and Fanta Blue F1 during coronal, middle, and apical third chemo-mechanical preparation.
